I read somewhere in an article that there are perfumes or scents that turns on men. A survey they conducted showed that clean scents, woody and floral and spicy florals are the best turn-on scents for men.
Pure White Linen of the Estee Lauder fragrance, J’adore of Christian Dior’s, Lancome’s Miracle, Dolce & Gabana’s Light and Blue and Elle Yves saint Laurent falls under the clean scent. These perfumes are claimed to have a natural and fresh smell just like a woman who just got out of the shower. Makes men feel they want to scurry up into bed and clutter the sheets.
While some women would not prefer to buy perfumes that are musky, spicy or woody, they might have to think otherwise. The notes on the label maybe masculine but those multilayered scents will smell great on them. The likes of Victoria’s Secret’s Very Sexy perfume, Christian Lacroix Rouge, Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession or Tom Ford’s Black Orchid.
Sophisticated scents such as Chane;’s Chance and Daisy Marc Jacobs falls under the spicy floral scents. Look for those signature scent that will make you feel like a star or a millionaire..something that is infused with the combination of vanilla and white woods – sweet and spicy that is!
Talk Perfume to women and I'm sure that there are numerous of perfumes to choose from but always remember that what's important is wear something that makes you feel like a woman.

I am a slumdog millionaire

Note to my one and only avid reader...you know who you are...would like you to read this post with the soundtrack playing on....for a more melodramatic effect... :)
Tried to watched this movie before but ended up yawning at the first few scenes so I shut down the lap top and tried to catch my precious sleep. The title wasn't at all catchy so I never got interested in continuing where I left off until I heard feedbacks that it was indeed a good movie. So last night, since I was wide awake and still up i thought of giving it another shot.
The movie didn't fail me this time. The setting was in India and it was all about Jamal winning the game show "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" and the story behind how he knew the answers to the questions. I wouldn't go to the details of the story so as not to be a spoiler for those who haven't watched it yet. I just want to share how I am a slumdog millionaire on my own rights.
I guess I share the same sentiment of Jamal when it comes to Latika. No, I have not joined and won any gameshow but I felt like I am a millionaire since I knew my own Latika. Just like Jamal's Latika, she is Jamal's universe..a person which has been lost but have never been forgotten...not for a moment. Just like Jamal, Latika was the last person that brought her luck in his one last step from winning the game. Even though he won the game, he was never completely happy because the one person that can make him happy is yet to be found.
I hope one day I can find my Latika in the midst of the crowd and never let go. Like Jamal, I will be waiting at our own train station...our universe, everyday until he shows up. I have always said "it is as clear as mud" but the slumdog millionaire changed it when he said..."it is our destiny...it is written".

Heroin Detox
Whenever I drive to work, I always tune in to my favorite radio station just to make traffic worthwhile. They always have a segment wherein they say the topic for the day and callers nationwide share their stories on that related topic. This morning their topic was on "secrets". A 16-year old girl called and shared that stole 30 grand from her parents. The DJs asked the girl where did she spend the money that she stole. The girl replied that she used it on drugs. And from the sound of her voice, she thinks she was totally being cool. Two of the DJs felt almost responsible to give guidance to the obviously messed-up girl.
Personally, I feel sorry for the caller because she was telling stories how at an early age her life sucks! This is why there are some institutions, centers and other agencies that help people who are depressed and into drugs such as the "Promises Treatment Centers". They provide rehabilitation and heroin detox to alcoholics and drug users. So if you know someone related to you or close to you, you might want to check out their site. They are sure to be in good hands.

A call to MCF
Yesterday I went to the Register of Deeds in Marikina City to fix the Transfer Certificate Title that is under my name. I went there early so I can do some of my errands. Typical of a government, they had me waiting for almost 3 hours only to tell me that there was no examiner. I was so pissed off. For any cool-level-headed person, I think it would be a test of patience. Really! I am surprised that there are still some government agencies in Marikina that gives a crap to such bureaucracy. I guess this is why our country is still status quo...not even moving forward to a "developing country" category. I just wonder 5 or 10 years from now what and how things would work out for the Filipino citizens. I am so disappointed in what I thought a hassle-free day for me. It was harder and complicated than I thought. I guess this is me knocking on Mayor Marides Fernando's door chanelling my complaint to what it seem to be a non-bureaucratic city government of Marikina. Some things never change.
