Dockers - a Quintessential style!

75x75

The catwalk and the spotlight are two most remarkable points where endless debates and polls on our "favorite/most hated dresses" only proves that fashion icons are in high demand.
Each and every one of us has our own icon that we look up to when it comes to fashion. Classic as it is, I must admit that Audrey Hepburn is an admirable woman of her time. She set a trend and became an inspiration to many. She had established herself as one of the most admired and emulated women of the century. Even up to now, people look up to her. As one article aptly puts it : “With an innate knowledge of her flaws and attributes, Hepburn developed a unique style which perfectly complimented her personality and remained loyal to it throughout the seasons. Over the years she would be responsible for bringing the little black dress, ballet flats, toreador pants and the black turtleneck to the forefront of fashion; all items of such simplicity that they still seem modern today.”
The truth of the matter is, just as style is a very personal and individual choice, so are our favorite fashion mavens. An icon to me is simply an inspiration. Someone I admire that I might seek to emulate elements of her style but not totally all of it. I know what might work for others might not be good for me. My attitude when it comes to having my own style has always been geared to simplicity because it is the most unique and classic fashion that I know will always look good on me. By being simple, you are able to carry all the confidence that you can muster. After all your style is your own... but it never hurts to have a helping hand when it comes to new ideas.

Having said all of it, I encourage you readers to parade your own style by designing your own commercial video so you can join the Dockers contest (www.nbc.com/Dockers). Your video can be aired in the Jay Leno show during its commercial break if your video wins the contest. Of course the video must feature Dockers and focus on your own fashion trend and style equipped with the latest Docker items of your choice. Intrigued and interested? Visit the Dockers to get some ideas and if you are inching your way to becoming a commercial guru then hit the link and miss no element by clicking http://www.nbc.com/Dockers.You may also try visiting this link Dockers to view the different dockers style.
