Be smart, go for edu links!

Here I am trying to increase traffic to my blog site and hopefully get a Page Rank but to no avail. I’ve tried all the works that my friend told me to do and I’ve also researched on how else I can improve my Page Rank. I would stop and take a look at every chance that I can get with any articles that suggests improvement. So they say ‘Content is King’ that is why I am trying to master the skill of being straightforward, informative and at the same time creative so that my posts will be as detailed, catchy, sensible and of course interesting.

Other than having the “Content-is-King” mantra, another option to earn a rank for anyone involve in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is to build incoming links. However, it is not that easy. It is the trickiest and most time consuming but it is the single most important thing one can do to improve their rankings. Why? The answer is I guess very logical and self-explanatory: The more inbound links a page has, the more well-liked or accepted the site is.

With this in mind, one will try to get as more link as possible. Nonetheless, one should also keep the thought that while it is true that a link will add value to your site, it is still wiser to get links that come from authoritative pages. Now, did I finally get your attention? Well, I am talking about edu links.

Why edu links? There are numerous reasons for endorsing this link. For one, it is a fact that Google and Yahoo pay high respect for both edu links and .gov links than .com, .net and others. Obviously, there are far less .edu and .gov websites which makes it harder for one to get a link. Also, it has been there for 10 years, has gained the trust of many, and has been well established which makes it more credible with its thousands of incoming links.

Another thing is that undoubtedly it is an authoritative link. As I read in one article and I quote, “SEO experts go through an enormous amount of trouble to luck upon just one link from an EDU domain”.

Based alone on what I’ve listed down, I think it will be to your advantage if you choose edu links which by the way you can get as many links as you want without having to sweat it out.
