Eerie and tormenting...only in Frontier(s)!

Since I was young I have been watching scary movies. I remember then when most kids my age would be glued to the screen watching cartoons, I would rather shift the channel and look for horror movies. Even now when I go and buy DVDs, no horror or suspense movies or TV series would escape my sight.
I’ve seen so many horror movies and it seems like that there is an ongoing trend. The classic horror would include western dominated horror movies. Then came the Asian horror movies which for a time prevailed the cinemas. Now, some French horror movie is making its way into some selected theatres to scare the hell out of the viewers. I am talking about Xavier Gens’ FRONTIER(S). I have seen the trailer in their official website at the http://www.frontiersunrated.com. I must say that the trailer alone gives the chill. Some scenes and pictures seem so surreal that it gives me the creeps. The trailer will prepare you to the bone-chilling synopsis down to some of its tormenting clips and pictures. It will also show you the select theater listings and a forum where you can leave some messages and comments regarding the movie. This movie has become phenomenal that it did not get solid releases in the United States because of its extreme sadistic gore and its violence.
As I’ve mentioned Frontier(s) will only be shown in selected theaters for a week starting May 9 in its entirety and uncut version. For those who will miss the play date, don’t worry because it will find its way to DVD on May 13.
I am not quite sure why this movie cannot be seen in its entirety when it would mean that it would cut some scenes; lose interesting parts of the story which in turn would lessen the value of the movie. If you would take a look at the reviews in Frontier(s) and watch the trailer, you would know what I mean. The trailer alone speaks for itself which gives me something to look forward more with the movie. I agree with one of the reviews when it says “Frontier(s)….is heart pounding, uber-violent, and yet thought provoking horror-thriller……Quite simply, Frontier is a circus freak show of terror; a horrible nightmare…..There is a not a single wasted moment of screen time as the film nears perfection and will be remembered forever as one of the greatest genre films of all time…..It is like a constant drop on the roller coaster, the thrill never ends.”
The sadistic gore and violence is part and parcel of the movie which I think should be shown. I am not promoting it because I love violence but I think because there is more to violence than the whole story put together. If you want to see more or hear more about the movie, you may want to visit Frontier(s)
